Job Description

As the Academic Coordinator / SAT Mentor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing academic programs and activities. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with faculty, operations, and students to ensure smooth operation of academic initiatives and delivery of quality education. Here's what you will be expected to do: - **Curriculum Coordination and Implementation:** - Work closely with faculty to develop and revise curriculum materials. - Ensure alignment of curriculum with academic standards and institutional goals. - Coordinate the implementation of curriculum changes and updates. - **Program Coordination:** - Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of academic programs and courses. - Collaborate with department heads to ensure program requirements are met. - **Student Support and Advising:** - Provide academic advising and track student progress. - Assist students with academic planning and goal setting. - Serve as a resource for students seeking guidance on academic matters. - **Faculty Support and Development:** - Support faculty in delivering effective instruction and assessment methods. - Facilitate communication and collaboration among faculty members. - **Assessment and Evaluation:** - Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate program effectiveness. - Collect and analyze data on student outcomes and program performance. - Use assessment findings to inform continuous improvement efforts. - **Administrative Duties:** - Maintain accurate records related to academic programs, courses, and students. - Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. - Assist with budget planning and resource allocation as needed. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in education, Higher Education Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred). - Previous experience in academic administration or coordination. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational technology tools. - Familiarity with accreditation standards and regulations. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience working in a higher education setting. - Knowledge of curriculum development principles and best practices. - Familiarity with student information systems and learning management systems. - Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education. - Experience with IB, IGCSE, or AS/A Level is a plus.
