Ab Initio ETL Developer | Location: India | Work Model: On-site

About The Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced Ab Initio Developer to join a delivery team focused on designing, building, and supporting high-throughput ETL pipelines and data warehouses. The role is hands-on, on-site in India, and will work closely with architects, DBAs, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into resilient, performant production data flows.Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Ab Initio graphs and components using GDE and EME to implement ETL workflows and data movement processes.
Implement robust data ingestion, transformation, and cleansing logic; validate data quality and ensure accurate mappings across source and target systems.
Optimize graphs for parallelism, partitioning and resource utilization; perform performance tuning and root-cause analysis for production incidents.
Schedule and manage batch/real-time jobs via Co>Operating System; create and maintain monitoring, alerts, and recovery procedures.
Collaborate with DBAs, QA, and business analysts to validate transformations, create test cases, and support deployments to production.
Create technical design documents, code reviews, and operational runbooks; enforce coding standards and best practices for maintainability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven hands-on experience working with Ab Initio in production environments — typically 3+ years preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; experience supporting 24x7 production ETL operations is an advantage.
