3D Hard Surface Lead

We're Hiring: 3D Hard Surface Lead | AAA Game Projects | Onsite - Gurgaon, India 🇮🇳

Are you a master of mechanical detail and passionate about creating stunning, high-quality hard surface assets? We’re looking for a 3D Hard Surface Lead to join our growing team and lead the charge on multiple AAA titles.

🔧 What You'll Do:

Lead and mentor a team of 3D artists in crafting exceptional vehicles, weapons, props, and sci-fi/mechanical assets.

Define and uphold artistic direction and quality standards for hard surface modeling.

Develop and refine production pipelines integrating tools like CAD > Retopo > Baking > Texturing.

Collaborate with Art Directors, Concept Artists, and Technical Artists for visual consistency.

Troubleshoot, optimize, and push for continuous improvement in workflows and tools.

Manage deliverables, timelines, and team performance across multiple projects.

🎨 What You Bring:

8+ years in 3D game asset creation, including 3+ years in a leadership or mentorship capacity.

Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality hard surface modeling (vehicles, weapons, etc.).

Proficiency in Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer, Marmoset.

Familiarity with CAD tools (Fusion 360, Plasticity, MoI3D) is a plus.

Deep understanding of PBR workflows, retopology, UV unwrapping, baking, and material creation.

Experience working in game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity.

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
