Job Description

The Regional Manager - Sales is responsible for driving the sales strategy and growth initiatives within the large business segment. This pivotal role involves leading a sales team, fostering client relationships, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring excellent service delivery. As a Regional Manager, your main accountabilities include team leadership, client acquisition and relationship management, sales strategy development, portfolio quality management, client feedback analysis, business targets and budget management, and compliance with regulatory and company policies. In terms of team leadership, you will lead and manage a high-performing sales team by overseeing recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management. It is essential to identify and nurture talent within the team, build cross-functional competency, and ensure succession planning to groom future leaders. Training and performance evaluations will be conducted to maximize team productivity and results. Client acquisition and relationship management are crucial aspects of the role. You will lead efforts to acquire new clients in the region, identify prospects, and convert them into valuable business relationships. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the large business sector is necessary to meet their needs and address issues promptly. Identifying cross-sell opportunities, increasing wallet share, and maintaining relationships with existing clients at CXO and Promoter levels are key responsibilities. In terms of sales strategy, you will develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives to drive portfolio growth in line with revenue targets of the large business segment. Collaboration with the team to drive corporate tie-ups and lead generation activities is essential for a consistent flow of potential clients. Contribute to the development of sales strategies, product offerings, and market insights based on client feedback and market trends. Portfolio quality management entails identifying industries/companies with growth potential, understanding market changes, and maintaining a high-quality portfolio. Regular monitoring of the existing portfolio and effective collection management are necessary to ensure a well-balanced portfolio in the region. Analyzing client feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall client satisfaction is an important aspect of the role. Ensuring the achievement of budgetary targets, compliance with regulatory and company policies, and seeking opportunities for growth are vital responsibilities of the Regional Manager - Sales. The ideal candidate for this position should be a Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline with a strong background in sales, leadership, client relationship management, and strategic planning.,
