Job Description

As a Zonal Sales Head for the Independent Aftermarket, your role will involve leading a team of Regional and Area Sales Managers to drive sales growth, expand the market, and ensure customer satisfaction in the assigned zone. You will be responsible for implementing effective go-to-market strategies, overseeing brand and channel development, and enhancing the company's market presence in key product categories. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute zonal sales strategies that align with overall business goals and revenue targets. - Achieve sales, profitability, and market share objectives within the independent aftermarket segment. - Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and product positioning to identify market trends and growth opportunities. - Prepare and manage zonal sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports. Business Development: - Build and strengthen a robust distribution network of distributors, retailers, and mechanics to improve product availability and preference. - Increase share of wallet (SOW) with channel partners through consistent engagement and business expansion initiatives. - Drive primary and secondary sales through effective sign-offs, incentive programs, and promotional activities. - Implement training programs for mechanics and channel partners to enhance product knowledge and correct fitment practices. Team Leadership: - Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of Regional/State Managers and Market Sales Representatives. - Define KPIs, set clear performance goals, and ensure a structured journey cycle plan for the team. - Promote a high-performance culture emphasizing customer orientation, accountability, and continuous capability building. Qualifications Required: - Sharp business acumen with in-depth knowledge of the independent Aftermarket industry in the geographies being handled. - Proven ability in growing existing products and launching new product lines in the Aftermarket. - Analytical skills to understand sales and marketing policies of competitors and suggest interventions for gaining market share. - Strong influencing skills and ability to motivate teams for substantial sales growth. - Excellent communication skills with local language fluency. - Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder and customer management.,
