Job Description

Role (Why position exists):Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and monitoring the overall business marketing strategy for Northeast cluster. Main Responsibilities:Liaison with marketing research and advertising agencies in getting things done, including POP material.Listen” to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company.Define offline marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives.Develop a feasible ATL / BTL marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation.Suggest marketing strategy based on MR inputs.Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”.Track KPIs on a regular basis and present reportsCreate and present the annual marketing plan and strategy.Analyze company's marketing strategy and suggest improvements.Stay up to date with the latest technology.Stay up to date with the latest best practices.Keep the marketing budget in check.Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels.Understands fashion retailing. Understands the rural / small town marketing needs. Planning and execution with new ideas relevant for small townCost effective and who can prepare a proper planned budget and stay within it Initial Survey for new store launch including catchment area analysisSupport sales team with appropriate marketing inputs, including variance analyses.Build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals.Create a solid network of strategic partnerships.Responsible for all activities leading to products' demand and promotion of sales, brand-equity, image. Market-research, branding, communication, events/activities relationship management.Design, arrange and execute communication addressed to internal stakeholdersExecute PR activities as required. Educational Qualifications:Graduate in any discipline, with full time post graduate qualifications in marketing management from a reputed business school. Experience:At least seven years of relevant experience in brand management and campaign execution with understanding of rural marketing strategies, performance marketing and consumer behaviour. Should have the expertise to manage retail locations and drive regional marketing strategies with exposure of working in Northeast market. Skills:Complete range of communication skills, including trilingual capabilities (Hindi, Bengali, English)Analytical abilityOrganising skillsNegotiation skillsPresentation skillsAttention to details Compensation - Depends on experience, current CTC and alignment with the best market standards.
