Zonal Head - New Economy Group

As the Zonal Head of the New Economy Group within the Wholesale Banking department, you will play a critical role in leading and shaping the bank's strategy for growth-stage startups, mature startups, and digital native companies. Your responsibilities will include engaging and acquiring financial sponsors, onboarding growth+ stage startups, and developing strong relationships with various stakeholders in the ecosystem. Your primary responsibilities will involve: - Leading and scaling Financial Sponsor Coverage and Growth & Scale Startup Acquisition roles. - Developing a unified coverage strategy across sponsors and their portfolio companies. - Ensuring deep adoption of wholesale banking solutions for growth+ enterprises, including working capital, structured debt, trade finance, and cash management. - Championing a platform-led engagement model to integrate the bank at a deeper level with customer platforms. - Building the bank's thought leadership and credibility in India's innovation economy by representing the bank at key ecosystem forums and tracking macro trends. In addition to these primary responsibilities, you will also be responsible for team leadership and governance, mentoring a high-performance team, and ensuring robust governance, portfolio quality, and compliance across the segment. To excel in this role, you should possess an MBA/CA/CFA or equivalent from a reputed institution with 10-18 years of relevant experience in the field. Your experience should demonstrate your ability to handle integrated leadership across the New Economy ecosystem, deliver comprehensive banking solutions for growth+ enterprises, and drive strategic market development initiatives.
