Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Information Security Specialist to safeguard our cloud infrastructure and data assets. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of security controls, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and protect against evolving cloud threats within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage information security solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Secure Azure infrastructure, applications, and data using Microsoft-native tools and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and compliance checks across Azure environments.
  • Configure and manage Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Azure Policy.
  • Monitor and respond to security events using Microsoft Sentinel and Log Analytics.
  • Manage Azure identity and access controls, including Azure AD, RBAC, conditional access, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
  • Implement data loss prevention (DLP), encryption, and information protection mechanisms in Azure.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to align cloud security practices with business goals.
  • Document security policies, processes, and incident response plans.
Required Skills & Experience :
  • 5+ years of experience in information security, with a strong focus on Azure cloud.
  • Proficient in Azure security services including Key Vault, NSGs, ASGs, Azure Firewall, Defender, and Sentinel.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud governance, security posture management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with identity and access management, security monitoring, and incident response.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting (PowerShell, CLI) and security automation in Azure.
  • Solid understanding of network security, endpoint protection, and encryption standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
