Workshop Supervisor – Fabrication & Machining

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day activities in the fabrication and machining workshop.
• Read and interpret

  technical and engineering drawings

  accurately.
• Plan and allocate daily work to welders, fitters, machinists, and helpers.
• Ensure that production schedules and delivery timelines are met.
• Maintain workshop discipline, safety, and cleanliness.
• Check dimensions, tolerances, and ensure product quality at each stage.
• Manage

  paperwork, production records, job cards, inspection reports, and logbooks.

• Coordinate with the quality and stores team for material movement.
• Ensure proper utilization of machines like

  VTL, HBM, Lathe, Drill, and Grinding machines.

• Report daily progress and issues to management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience:

  Minimum

  5–10 years

  in a fabrication or machining industry (preferably heavy fabrication).

• Education:

  Diploma / ITI / B.Tech (Mechanical or Production preferred).

• Knowledge of:

• Technical and machining drawings
• Welding and fabrication processes
• Machining operations (turning, boring, drilling, grinding)
• MS Office / paperwork / documentation
• Strong leadership, discipline, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain seriousness and productivity on shop floor.

Work Location:

CEI Workshop, Govindpura Industrial Estate, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh)

Job Type:

Full-Time | On-Site | 6 Days a Week

Salary:

Negotiable – based on experience and capability (Industry Standard)
