Plan & supervise machining/fabrica on to meet produc on goals. • Opmize use of manpower, machines, and materials. • Coordinate with planning/design teams for produc on schedules. • Oversee CNC, conven onal lathe, milling, welding machines, and fabrica on ac vi es. • Ensure quality, safety, and produc vity on the shop floor. • Coordinate maintenance for equipment (preven ve & breakdown). • Manage inventory of raw materials, tools & consumables. • Implement lean manufacturing & con nuous improvement prac ces. • Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, and customer standards. • Coordinate with QA/QC for inspec ons. • Train and mentor shop floor staff. • Enforce safety, cleanliness, and 5S prac ces. • Liaise with design, procurement, and dispatch for workflow efficiency.
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. • 15–20 years in machining/fabrica on, including 5+ years in a managerial role. • Experience with Tig and SMAW welding preferred.
