Job Description

As an ATPDE Work Force Development Specialist/Coordinator at Micron Technology, you will be a key player in enhancing employee skills, fostering growth, and promoting continuous learning within the organization. Your expertise will drive talent development initiatives to ensure that the workforce remains agile, adaptable, and aligned with strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires, focusing on technical proficiencies, company culture, and role-specific training. Working with PDE leaders, you will identify critical technical skills required for various roles and develop training modules, workshops, and certifications to enhance these proficiencies. Additionally, you will collaborate with PDE technical leaders to stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and standard methodologies. You will disseminate relevant information to employees through workshops, newsletters, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Furthermore, you will work with leadership to identify crucial soft skills such as communication, partnership, and adaptability. Building targeted programs to improve these skills at all levels will be a part of your role. Establishing key performance indicators to measure the impact of workforce development initiatives and regularly evaluating program efficiency to adjust strategies as needed will also be crucial. To excel in this role, you should have demonstrated experience in designing and delivering effective training programs, familiarity with semiconductor or IT-related industry learning principles, and instructional design skills. Proficiency in assessing skill gaps, creating personalized development plans, strong organizational skills for program management, and excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with various teams are essential qualifications. Additionally, understanding change management principles and proficiency in analysis and presentation tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and PowerPoint will be beneficial.
