Workday Technical Consultant

Global HR Workday Data Migration Analyst :

your responsibilities include

Data Extraction and Analysis:

Collaborate with local HR teams in different countries to understand their existing HR data structures and systems.

Extract data from various Global source systems (e.g., legacy HR systems, spreadsheets, etc.) using appropriate tools and techniques.

Analyze and profile the extracted data to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps.

Data Transformation and Mapping:

Map local source data elements to the target Workday data model.

Develop and execute data transformation rules to cleanse, standardize, and transform data into the required format for Workday.

Utilize data migration tools and templates effectively.

Data Validation and Reconciliation:

Validate the migrated data in Workday to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Reconcile migrated data with source systems to identify and resolve any discrepancies.

Develop and execute data quality checks throughout the migration process.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with Global HR, IT and local HR teams to coordinate data migration activities.

Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders on data migration progress, issues, and risks.

Develop and maintain comprehensive data migration documentation.

skills and knowledge:

Workday Knowledge: Experience working with Workday is required, including foundation data structures and EIB. Workday certifications are a plus.

Data Migration Experience: Proven experience in data migration projects involving HR data and Workday.

Data Analysis Skills: Strong data analysis skills, including data profiling, cleansing, and transformation.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in data manipulation tools (e.g. SQL, Excel) and data migration processes.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Global mindset and understanding of different cultural contexts.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
