Workday Procurement Specialist

Summary

• 3 - 7 years of experience in Workday Procurement / FSCM modules implementation or support.
• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay, Supplier Management, Supplier Accounts, and Procurement Contracts.
• Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, reporting, and security.
• Experience in business process framework (BPF) setup and configuration in Workday.
• Familiarity with integration touchpoints (Workday Studio, EIB, APIs, third-party procurement/payment systems).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Role & responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Procurement and FSCM modules (Supplier Accounts, Purchasing, Expenses, Supplier Contracts, Business Assets, etc.).
• Configure and maintain Workday Procurement functionality including requisitions, purchase orders, supplier setup, sourcing, catalogs, procurement contracts, and settlement processes.
• Partner with Finance and Supply Chain teams to streamline procure-to-pay (P2P) processes.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements within Workday FSCM.
• Manage functional design, testing (UAT, SIT), and deployment activities for procurement-related projects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide resolution in collaboration with technical teams.
• Support integration activities between Workday and third-party systems (ERP, supplier portals, payment systems).
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and procurement best practices.
• Deliver training, knowledge transfer, and documentation for business users.
