Role Overview

Workday Integration Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain Workday integrations including EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio integrations, PECI, and REST/SOAP API-based connectors.
• Support end-to-end data integration lifecycle: mapping, transformation, validation, error handling, and monitoring.
• Manage high-volume employee data flows for multi-state hourly security staff across retail locations.
• Implement automation and data orchestration

  using any of the platforms

  such as

  UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Pega, Power Automate, Work Fusion, Camunda, Automation Edge, Aka Bot, and Stack Storm

  .
• Partner closely with HCM, Payroll, Scheduling, and Operations teams to understand data dependencies and integration requirements.
• Maintain integration documentation, version control, and production support processes.
• Troubleshoot failed integrations, manage Workday error logs, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Ensure data integrity, security alignment, and compliance with labor and regulatory standards.
• Manage Workday release updates and regression testing for integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 58 years of Workday integration development experience.
• Strong expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Report-as-a-Service (RaaS), and APIs.
• Experience with complex data mapping and large-scale data loads for hourly workforce industries.
• Experience on

  any of the workflow automation platforms

  such as

  UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Pega, MS Power Automate, Work Fusion, Camunda, Automation Edge, Aka Bot, Stack Storm

  .
• Strong understanding of HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, and related operational data structures.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with high workforce transaction volumes.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Workday Integration certifications are highly preferred.
