Workday Functional Test Lead

As a Senior Associate in the Advisory Line of Service at PwC located in Bangalore, India, you will be working as a Workday Functional Tester in the Managed Services Platform. You will be an integral part of a team of problem solvers, contributing to the resolution of complex business issues from strategy through execution and beyond. To excel in this role, you are expected to possess the following qualifications and skills: Mandatory Skills: - Hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Demonstrate a minimum of 4 years of overall experience in the Workday platform. - Have at least 3 years of experience in managed services or post-production release testing. - Possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the testing domain. - Obtain certification in one or more Workday modules. - Showcase experience in collaborating with client partners to comprehend their business requirements and contribute to the development, configuration, and testing of solutions. - Assist in the creation of solutions for clients and/or internal reviews. - Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements. - Analyze Workday release updates to comprehend the impacts of feature changes relative to the client's existing configuration. - Resolve functional issues effectively and implement complex business scenarios. - Manage reporting and controlling defects. - Support in the analysis of complex business scenarios. - Possess excellent spoken and written communication skills to articulate methods to both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Skills: - Exposure to automation testing using tools like TOSCA, Opkey, Selenium, UFT is advantageous. - Proficiency in designing Test Plans and Test Cases based on requirements and project needs. - Proactive in identifying potential improvements to the Test Process or Tested Software. - Experience in utilizing various test management tools such as Solution Manager, Jira, HP ALM, qTest, Rally, etc. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. - Ability to think innovatively and "outside the box." - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the tenacity to apply diverse techniques to accomplish tasks efficiently.
