Job Description

Key Skills: Compliance, Workday, Security Roles & Responsibilities: Own the Workday security module, overseeing: Security Configuration: Set up and configure security roles, domains, and access permissions in Workday. Manage user access to various Workday modules and applications, ensuring that users have appropriate levels of access. Configure role-based access control and security policies within Workday. Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure that security controls and configurations are in line with internal and external compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX). Identify and mitigate potential security risks related to user access and data protection. Conduct regular audits of security settings and access logs to ensure compliance with policies. User Administration: Oversee the creation, modification, and termination of user accounts in Workday. Manage user roles and permissions based on job responsibilities and organizational requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user access, authentication, and authorization. Security Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitor and manage system security alerts and events. Investigate and resolve security incidents or data breaches. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Workday security configurations, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure. Collaboration and Consultation: Advise clients or stakeholders on security best practices within Workday. Collaborate with Workday functional consultants to ensure security and access policies are aligned with business processes. Training and Documentation: Provide training to end-users and administrators on how to follow security protocols and manage their roles in Workday. Document security configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and auditing purposes. Security Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to security, such as user access reports, security audits, and compliance assessments. Provide insights and recommendations based on security reports and data. Partner with business stakeholders to develop a Workday security optimization roadmap (Front door requests / Project intakes and Backlog management) by understanding pain points, prioritize requirements and opportunities to improve process efficiency and scalability. Leverage mastery level knowledge to lead efforts (hands on) to deliver complex initiatives/ projects/ module enhancements identified in the Workday security optimization roadmap. Manage/ Triage Service NAB tickets for all security-related issues, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives ensuring all tickets are properly documented, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner. Serve as the go to person for Workday security inquiries. Lead testing efforts within P&C Systems ensuring smooth user acceptance testing (UAT) and Integrated testing. Stay up to date with Workday updates, releases, and industry best practices to enhance system capabilities. Mentor and guide junior colleagues for their role in configuration and testing. Release management: Manage module specific sprint planning and deliverables. Manage half yearly Workday release enhancements (R1 and R2) Expirence Requirments: Minimum of 11 years' Workday experience with expertise in Workday security and core HCM. Must be Workday Pro Security certified. Certification in other modules will be an added advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot Workday technical issues. Excellent verbal and written communication, with escalation and conflict resolution skills. Qualifications: Any Graduation/ Any Post Graduation in computer science, business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
