Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Workday Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of our Workday platform. As a key member of the HRIS/IT team, the Workday Architect will serve as the technical authority across all Workday modules, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. This role combines deep technical knowledge with strong business acumen to drive Workday innovation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities : Architecture & Strategy :


- Define and maintain the architectural vision, roadmap, and best practices for Workday platform implementation and enhancements.
- Evaluate new Workday capabilities and releases; provide strategic recommendations and roadmap planning.- Act as the lead solution architect across modules such as HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, and Financials.Solution Design & Integration :


- Lead design of complex solutions involving Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and Workday Extend.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.- Oversee data integrations between Workday and third-party systems (e.g., ADP, ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, Azure, etc.).Governance & Optimization :


- Establish data governance, configuration management, and development lifecycle standards.
- Review and optimize Workday business processes, security roles, reports, and dashboards.- Monitor system performance, scalability, and operational health.Project Leadership :


- Lead or support large-scale Workday projects including new implementations, module rollouts, and major upgrades.
- Provide technical oversight to Workday developers and support teams.- Ensure alignment of Workday solutions with overall enterprise architecture and compliance requirements.Qualifications Required :


- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Workday with at least 2-3 years in an architectural or lead role.- Proven experience across multiple Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Talent, Financials, etc.).- Strong experience in Workday integration tools (EIB, Studio, Connectors, Web Services).- Deep knowledge of Workday security model, business process framework, reporting, and calculated fields.Preferred Certifications :


- Workday Pro or Workday Certified in one or more areas (e.g., HCM, Integrations, Financials, Recruiting)
- TOGAF, PMP, or other relevant architecture/project management certifications (optional)Soft Skills :


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.- Ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence.- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and ownership.
