Job Description

As a Workday Analyst at our financial services company, you will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. Your responsibilities will include: - Configuring and maintaining the Workday Platform, collaborating with project sponsors, IT partners, and cross-functional project team members. - Supporting the configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday enhancements and new functionality. - Gathering requirements from HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver Workday solutions. - Performing data analysis, validation, and reporting to support HR operations and decision-making. - Troubleshooting system issues and providing timely resolution and support to end-users. - Maintaining system documentation, process flows, and user guides. - Ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Developing testing plans and executing and managing testing efforts for projects. - Reviewing release notes, gathering requirements, testing, and ensuring deployment plans are in place for release management. - Analyzing projects to estimate effects on systems, business, employees, and clients to find solutions that reduce costs and improve customer service. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience in providing hands-on HRIS System configuration. - 2-5 years of relevant experience providing testing, application support, and business systems analysis for an HR department in a medium to large global company. - Previous HRIS experience preferred, Workday required. - Ability to create test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and use best practice testing methods. - Experience with automated testing tools, preferably Kainos. - Proven ability to partner with both internal technical and non-technical staff as well as third-party vendors. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills. - Solid understanding of the software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release management/version control, testing methodologies, and deployment management. - Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and legal requirements. - Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
