Key Responsibilities:

Experience :

Location : Ahmedabad (Onsite)

Project & Delivery Management

• Lead end-to-end WordPress projects with backend as the primary focus, while ensuring frontend quality and design alignment.
• Define scope, allocate tasks, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Track project progress, report regularly, and conduct milestone reviews.

Backend Development & Oversight (Priority)

• Manage

  WordPress core customization, plugin development, and API integrations

  .
• Optimize backend systems for

  security, performance, and scalability

  .
• Troubleshoot complex backend issues, conduct code reviews, and enforce WordPress coding standards.
• Implement caching strategies, database optimization, and server-side improvements.
• Experience with

  custom themes/templates, plugin customization, and version control (Git or similar).

Frontend Development & Coordination (Secondary but Important)

• Ensure

  responsive, cross-browser compatible, and visually engaging

  websites.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and frontend developers to implement layouts.
• Oversee frontend tasks using

  HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and frameworks like Bootstrap

  .
• Review frontend deliverables to maintain performance and user experience quality.

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of WordPress developers, designers, and QA testers.
• Allocate backend and frontend tasks effectively, ensuring balance of workload.
• Conduct regular team reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and provide technical guidance.
• Build a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the main point of contact for client requirements.
• Translate client needs into technical (backend + frontend) project plans.
• Provide updates, demos, and handle expectation management.

Quality Assurance & Process Optimization

• Conduct unit testing, load testing, and cross-device/frontend testing.
• Standardize reusable modules (both backend & frontend).
• Collaborate with SEO, marketing, and design teams for project alignment.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• 5 To 8 years of experience

  in WordPress development & project management (with at least 2+ years in leadership).
• Strong backend expertise:

  PHP, MySQL, WordPress core, APIs, plugin customization, security, and performance optimization

  .
• Solid frontend skills:

  HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, responsive design

  .
• Proven experience with

  custom themes/templates, plugin customization, and version control (Git or similar).

• Knowledge of

  SEO best practices, caching, page speed optimization, and security enhancement

  .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work across backend-heavy and frontend-focused projects seamlessly.
