Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with a strong foundation in front-end and back-end development to join our team in Mohali. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and customizing WordPress websites, with the ability to work with various themes, plugins, and page builders. In addition, the candidate must possess working knowledge of either React.js or Node.js as a mandatory secondary skill.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
• Work with custom themes, plugins, and popular page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery.
• Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement and manage security updates and best practices for WordPress.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers for seamless integration.
• Handle plugin development or customization as needed.
• Directly communicate with clients to understand and implement requirements.
• Integrate React.js or Node.js features/modules into websites as required.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Hands-on experience with page builders and plugin customization.
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and coding standards.
• Mandatory secondary skill: Proficient in either React.js or Node.js.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and dynamic content rendering.
• Good understanding of MySQL and database structures.
• Version control systems (Git or similar).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle client discussions.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and tools.
• Exposure to website security, performance optimization, or testing tools.
• Experience working in agile or collaborative team environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
