About the Role:
Wits Innovation Lab is looking for a talented WordPress Developer who can craft clean, responsive, and scalable websites while collaborating directly with clients. If you love solving problems, own your code, and can speak human (not just tech), lets talk.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and themesCustomize existing plugins and build new ones as neededCollaborate with designers, marketers, and clients to deliver user-focused solutionsEnsure website performance, security, and SEO best practicesConduct regular site audits, updates, and backupsTroubleshoot issues and support project lifecycles end-to-endRequired Skills:3+ years of hands-on experience with WordPressStrong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScriptExperience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibilityExcellent spoken and written communication skillsConfident in handling client calls, demos, and requirement discussions.
