Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress, Shopify, or custom development platforms.
• Customize themes and templates to meet specific client requirements and branding guidelines.
• Implement user-friendly, SEO-optimized front-end designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, content writers, and backend developers to deliver fully functional websites.
• Utilize AI-based development tools to accelerate coding, automate testing, and streamline deployment.
• Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues, providing ongoing website maintenance and enhancements.
• Optimize websites for speed, security, accessibility, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Stay updated with the latest web trends, CMS advancements, security best practices, and emerging technologies.
  

Required Skills

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap; familiarity with PHP and frameworks like React or Vue is a plus.
• Strong hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS platforms, including theme customization and plugin integration.
• Experience using tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or AI website builders to accelerate development, testing, and debugging.
• Skilled in improving website performance, page load speed, and following secure web development best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
  

Preferred Attributes

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining websites or web applications.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, payment gateways, and CRMs.
• Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse for performance tracking.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
