Job Description Role Overview: You are a skilled WordPress Developer with a strong understanding of WordPress development, encompassing front-end and back-end aspects, theme and plugin customization, and integration of third-party APIs. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for performance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins. - Design and implement new features and functionality. - Ensure high-performance and availability of all WordPress sites. - Manage website back-end, including database and server integration. - Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance problems. - Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to implement design and functionality requirements. - Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to WordPress development. - Conduct website performance tests and improve load times. - Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring compatibility with the latest WordPress versions. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. - Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development. - Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. - Knowledge of WordPress core, themes, plugins, and architecture. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Experience with website optimization tools and techniques. - Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. - [Preferred] Experience with WooCommerce, Elementor, or other WordPress-related tools. - [Preferred] Knowledge of SEO principles and tools.
