WordPress Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins, managing site architecture, and ensuring high performance and availability. A strong understanding of industry trends, content management systems, and responsive design is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage websites using WordPress.

Customize existing themes and plugins based on requirements. Develop custom themes and plugins as needed. Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, and SEO. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, content creators, and marketing teams. Troubleshoot and resolve website problems and bugs. Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code. Implement and maintain security, backup, and recovery protocols. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress and web development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3 to 5 years of professional experience in WordPress development.

Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL. Experience with page builders like Elementor,WPBakery, or Gutenberg. Familiarity with Git version control and deployment workflows.

Knowledge of REST APIs and integration of third-party services. Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and responsive design.

Experience with WooCommerce and other common WordPress plugins.Good understanding of SEO principles and accessibility standards. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Headless WordPress and JAMstack architecture. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Prior experience with performance optimization tools like GTmetrix, Lighthouse. Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
