Wordpress Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design, implement, and manage websites using WordPress. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins, with an understanding of aesthetics .

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and building website front-ends using WordPress.
• Creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements.
• Conducting website performance tests and ensuring high performance, availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Designing responsive and visually appealing web pages.
• Troubleshooting and resolving website issues.
• Integrating third-party APIs and payment gateways if required.
• Maintaining well-documented, clean code.
• Working closely with designers and content teams to implement website content and functionalities.
• Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends in web technologies and WordPress.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
• Experience developing responsive design websites.
• Comfortable working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage projects effectively and meet deadlines.
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but practical skills and a strong portfolio are highly valued.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar page builders.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with WooCommerce for e-commerce website development.
