Additionally, you will assist in maintaining and updating WordPress sites, which includes content updates and feature enhancements. It is crucial to stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development. Participation in code reviews and contributing to ongoing projects is also expected. Testing and ensuring compatibility of WordPress websites across multiple browsers and devices is an essential part of the role. Furthermore, you will be involved in website optimization tasks, such as performance improvements and SEO integration. Other requirements for this position include a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
