WordPress Developer

Clazzo Innovations is seeking a skilled and passionate WordPress Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins, site integration, and security updates. A successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem, programming languages, a keen eye for aesthetics, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement responsive WordPress websites from concept to completion.
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins as per project specifications.
• Customize and extend existing themes and plugins to meet design and functionality requirements.
• Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Implement secure coding practices and conduct regular security audits and updates.
• Optimize website performance, including load times, responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, performance issues, and cross-browser compatibility problems.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and content teams to translate client/business requirements into functional web solutions.
• Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and platforms (e.g., e-commerce, payment gateways, analytics).
• Conduct website testing and quality assurance to ensure flawless functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress updates, industry trends, and development best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in WordPress CMS architecture, including themes, plugins, and core functionality.
• Proficiency in core web development languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of PHP for back-end WordPress development.
• Experience with MySQL and database management.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development principles.
• Familiarity with debugging tools (e.g., Chrome Developer Tools, Firebug).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for website structure and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Knowledge of server-side caching and performance optimization techniques (e.g., CDNs).
• Experience with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, Beaver Builder).

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
