WooCommerce Developer

We are seeking an experienced WooCommerce Developer to join our team at our Mohali office. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in plugin development and customization, with a strong focus on backend development. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing WooCommerce stores, ensuring seamless functionality, and integrating third-party services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plugin Development & Customization: Design and implement custom plugins for WooCommerce. Modify and extend existing plugins to meet project requirements.
• Backend Development: Focus on backend integration and functionality improvements. You will not be required to handle frontend tasks.
• Store Optimization: Optimize WooCommerce websites for speed, security, and scalability.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WooCommerce stores.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the project team to ensure that WooCommerce stores are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
• Integration: Integrate payment gateways, third-party APIs, and other external services into WooCommerce websites.
• Maintenance: Regularly update WooCommerce websites to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress and plugins.

Required skills:

• Experience: 4–8 years of professional experience in WooCommerce and WordPress development.
• Expertise in WooCommerce Backend: Strong experience with plugin development, customizations, and working within the WooCommerce ecosystem.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and WordPress development best practices.
• API & Integrations: Experience working with REST APIs, third-party services, and payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe, etc.).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Location: Must be available to work onsite at our Mohali office
