Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

WireMock API Mocking Engineer

with

3-5 years of expertise

WireMock framework, stub design, and API mocking concepts

. The ideal candidate will be skilled in

creating and configuring API mocks

to simulate real-world scenarios, enabling seamless

development and testing environments

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and configure API mocks
using
WireMock
to mimic real-world API interactions.
Design
dynamic response handling
for complex API requests.
Set up and manage
WireMock server
for development and testing environments.
Leverage
WireMock concepts
like response templating, scenario handling, proxies, and regex-based request matching.
Ensure
effective API simulation
to streamline development and testing workflows.
Collaborate with
clients, developers, and business stakeholders
to align WireMock integration with system requirements.
Troubleshoot and debug API stubs, resolving integration and simulation issues efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience:

3-5 years

of hands-on experience in

WireMock framework & stub design

Strong understanding

service mocking concepts

and

API behaviors

Experience in dynamic response development

for API requests using WireMock.

Familiarity with WireMock features

: response templating, scenarios, proxies, regex matching.

Good debugging and troubleshooting skills

for mock API testing.

Nice to Have (Secondary Skills):

Experience with one or more of the following:

Java & Spring Boot JavaScript & React Selenium with Java/JavaScript

Understanding of cloud-based applications

(auto-scaling, load balancing).

Familiarity with API Management tools

(Apigee, MuleSoft, etc.).
