Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a

WireMock Engineer

with

3-5 years of experience

in the

WireMock framework and API service virtualization

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

designing, developing, and configuring API stubs

, ensuring seamless integration and testing environments. The role also requires expertise in

dynamic response handling, service mocking, and debugging complex requests

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

Design and implement WireMock-based service mocks
to replicate real-world API scenarios.
Develop dynamic responses for complex API requests
using WireMock templates and configurations.
Set up and configure WireMock servers
for development and testing environments.
Optimize WireMock concepts
such as response templating, scenario-based mocking, proxying, and regex-based matching.
Ensure API compatibility
by closely working with development and QA teams.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Collaborate with
clients and business stakeholders
to understand implementation and integration needs for WireMock.
Debug and troubleshoot
mocking issues
in service virtualization environments.
Work with
API management tools
like
Apigee, MuleSoft, or others
for API gateway and security configurations.
Support
cloud-based applications
with concepts such as
auto-scaling and load balancing
.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Primary (Must-Have):

3-5 years

of experience in

WireMock framework and API stubbing

. Expertise in

service mocking, API virtualization, and dynamic response handling

. Proficient in

WireMock concepts

like response templating, scenarios, proxies, and regex matching. Strong

understanding of RESTful APIs

and web services.

Secondary (Good to Have):

Experience in one or more programming languages:

Java & Spring Boot
JavaScript & React
Selenium with Java/JavaScript
Understanding of
cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
and
containerized environments
. Hands-on experience with
microservices architecture and database concepts (SQL/NoSQL)
.
