Wifi Engineer (L1)- BSS Shanchar

Summary:

1) The candidate will be supporting the BSS /WIFI service at user level , 
2) Manage Inventory , report and monitor WIFI devices

Responsibilities:

. Monitoring, Managing and Maintaining the WIFI services for all RBI locations.
. Act on alerts and coordinate with respective support team for resolution of the issue. . Do the basic and first level troubleshooting on the reported issues. . Users onboarding and Offboarding in tools as per the onboarding process. . Respond to received mails, users call and address the issue accordingly. . Ensure seamless experience and monitor closely of vWLC / Arista WM and all RBI location POE switches, and Cisco & Arista Access Points. . Escalate to seniors as per escalation matrix in case of any critical and escalated issue for resolution.  . Support during Power down / up activities and other DRILLS for IFTAS Project related devices. . Capture and maintain the logs of WIFI devices/DNAC level if any. . Manage and maintain inventory and other details relating to WIFI service and support . Preparation of required reports periodically and submission of report to respective stakeholders for the review.

(b) Education:

B.E/ B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA (Computer/IT)/B.Sc (Computers)

(c) Experience:

1) B.E/B.Tech, M.Tech/MCA (Computer/IT) with 2 to 3 plus years or B.Sc (Computers) with 4 plus years of working experience on large complex enterprise networks. - Mandatory
2) Experience in Core Networking Skills (LAN/WAN/Data Center) - Mandatory 3) Experience with protocols/technologies such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP,  HSRP, VRRP, VLAN, VXLAN. - Mandatory 4) Hands on experience on multi-vendor / multi-service IP networks, multi-vendor equipment and network protocols. - Mandatory 5) Configuration experience on network management and monitoring tools - Desirable

(d) Certifications:

1) CCNA - 
2) ITIL Foundation - Desirable

(e) Knowledge:

1) Knowledge in Network Management and any one Monitoring tools. - Mandatory
2) Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills along with quick learner. - Mandatory 3) Knowledge of Software Defined Network (SDN) & SD-WAN. - Desirable 4) Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite. - Desirable 5) Knowledge of Network Security devices - Added advantage

1) Routing & Switching - Manadatory
