Job brief

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of electronic goods for our retail chain. The ideal candidate should ensure inventory accuracy, warehouse safety, timely dispatches, and effective team supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management

  : Oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, and stock movement of electronic goods like TVs, laptops, mobiles, etc.

• Stock Accuracy

  : Ensure regular stock audits, cycle counts, and maintain inventory records in WMS/ERP systems.

• Dispatch & Delivery

  : Coordinate with delivery teams and transport partners to ensure timely dispatch to stores or customers.

• Vendor Coordination

  : Manage goods receiving from vendors, checking against POs, and ensuring quality and quantity checks.

• Team Supervision

  : Lead and train warehouse staff, including pickers, loaders, and inventory clerks.

• Safety & Compliance

  : Implement warehouse safety protocols, manage EHS standards, and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Warehouse Layout & Optimization

  : Optimize space utilization, product stacking, and warehouse layout for better efficiency.

• Reporting

  : Generate daily/weekly reports on inventory, damages, shipments, and warehouse KPIs.

• Repair & Returns

  : Coordinate reverse logistics, service returns, and damaged goods as per SOPs.

• Tech Implementation

  : Utilize barcoding, scanners, and warehouse management systems for accuracy and speed.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in electronics or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory tools.
• Ability to lead a team and handle high-volume operations.
• Good understanding of Health, Safety & Environment practices.
• Physically fit to oversee warehouse operations regularly.
• Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Age group 35+ years and above

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in managing multiple warehouses or regional hubs.
• Knowledge of reverse logistics and refurbishment processes.
• Experience in working with Traditional, e-commerce or omni-channel retail.
