We’re Hiring: Accountant (Full-Cycle / GL Accountant)

Full-Cycle Accountant

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the complete month-end close process (close by the 5th business day)

• Prepare and post accruals, prepaids, deferrals, and reclasses

• Handle bank, credit card, AR, and AP reconciliations

• Maintain accrual, prepaid, and deferred revenue schedules

• Review and correct AR/AP entries from the AR/AP Clerk

• Ensure proper COGS and revenue matching and flag timing issues

• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Trial Balance

• Keep QuickBooks Online audit-ready

• Coordinate with external CPA for tax and audit support

• Maintain month-end workpapers and supporting documentation

What We’re Looking For

Education

• Bachelor of Commerce (required)

• Master of Commerce / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) preferred

Experience

• 4–8 years total accounting experience

• Minimum 3 years handling US clients with full-cycle accounting

Tools & Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills

• Deep understanding of month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statements

• Clear written and spoken English with the ability to explain financial entries and variances

Preferred

• Experience with US outsourced accounting firms

• Exposure to Gusto, Avalara

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving mindset
