Job Description

As a Welding Inspector at Ultimate Alloys Pvt. Ltd., your role will involve inspecting welded joints, ensuring quality control, and compliance with welding standards. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inspection records and prioritizing safety. Key Responsibilities: - Inspect welded joints according to approved standards and procedures. - Prepare welding maps for reference. - Ensure compliance with welding quality requirements and safety regulations. - Conduct and assess NDT inspections such as UT, MT, RT, PT as required. - Review and update WPS, PQR, and WPQ documentation. - Identify welding defects and suggest corrective and preventive measures. - Collaborate with production and quality teams to enhance welding quality. - Maintain inspection reports, records, and traceability documents. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's Degree in Welding/Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Mandatory CSWIP Welding Inspector certification. - NDT Level II certification in UT, MT, RT, PT. - Minimum 5 years of experience in a steel casting foundry or heavy engineering industry. - Profound understanding of metallurgy and steel casting processes. - Proficiency in NDT methods like UT, MT, RT, PT. - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Good documentation and reporting skills. - Capability to work efficiently in a team setting. - High emphasis on quality and safety standards.
