Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Melting Manager - Steel Casting Foundry at ULTIMATE ALLOYS PRIVATE LIMITED located in Coimbatore. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Melting Manager to lead the melting operations in our steel casting foundry. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of hands-on experience in managing melting processes, team handling, and ensuring metallurgical quality standards in a foundry environment Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day melting operations including charge preparation, furnace operations, and pouring. Monitor and control chemical composition and melting parameters to meet casting specifications. Lead a team of melting shop personnel to ensure safety, productivity, and quality. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production Planning teams. Implement best practices to reduce melting costs and improve yield. Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Qualifications Foundry Management and Casting skills. Minimum 10 years of experience in steel melting operations in a steel casting foundry. Strong knowledge of induction furnace operations, scrap management, and heat treatment processes. Process Integration and Metallurgy knowledge. Metal Casting experience. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively. Ability to work with a minimum workforce and achieve maximum output. Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field. Show more Show less
