Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our machine manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating machine components as per drawings and specifications, ensuring quality, strength, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding activities (ARC / MIG / TIG / Welding as applicable) on machine parts and structures
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning before welding
• Ensure accurate alignment and dimensional correctness of welded components
• Inspect welded joints for quality, strength, and defects
• Carry out minor repairs and rework if required
• Follow safety rules, welding procedures, and quality standards
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition
• Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, and quality teams
• Maintain housekeeping and workplace cleanliness

Required Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of welding techniques and processes
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Experience in welding MS, SS, and structural materials
• Good understanding of fabrication and machine manufacturing
• Attention to detail and quality consciousness
• Physically fit and safety-oriented

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma in Welding or Fabrication (preferred)
• 2–5 years of experience in a machine manufacturing or fabrication industry
• Fresher with strong welding skills may also be considered

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience in heavy machine frames or industrial equipment
• Knowledge of grinding, fitting, and basic machining
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools
