Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in various welding techniques and will be responsible for performing welding, fabrication, and repair work on plant machinery, structures, and components as per design and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform welding and fabrication using various techniques including MIG, TIG, Arc, and Gas welding.

* Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.

* Cut, shape, and join metal components to specifications using welding equipment.

* Conduct repairs and modifications on machinery, plant structures, and equipment.

* Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications.

* Maintain welding tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.

* Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE during all welding activities.

* Work in coordination with the maintenance, production, and quality teams.

* Maintain proper records of welding work and material usage.

* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines or fabricated components.

REQUIRED

* Strong technical skills in welding and fabrication

* Ability to work from technical drawings and blueprints

* Knowledge of safety procedures and welding standards

* Skilled in SMAW, MIG, TIG, and Gas Cutting

* Experience in welding of mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and alloys

* Familiarity with grinders, gas cutters, and other fabrication tools
