Job Title: Welder / Fitter Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in welding, fitting, and assembly of metal components as per technical drawings and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, ARC, or gas welding methods as required. Fit, assemble, and fabricate metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Measure, cut, grind, and shape metal parts using hand tools and power tools. Inspect materials, components, and welding quality to ensure accuracy and compliance. Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and welding symbols. Operate machinery such as drills, grinders, cutting torches, and bending machines. Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and secure work environment. Collaborate with supervisors and other technicians for smooth project execution. Required Skills & QualificationsProven experience as a Welder or Fitter in a manufacturing/industrial setting. Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Strong understanding of measurement tools (vernier, tape, micrometer). Good physical stamina and ability to handle heavy tools and equipment. Certification in welding (preferred but not mandatory). Personal AttributesAttention to detail and precision. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
