Wedding and Events Coordinator

The Wedding and Event Coordinator role involves planning, organizing, and overseeing weddings and events to deliver a memorable experience for clients. You will meet with clients to understand their preferences, offer professional advice on themes and vendors, and develop detailed event timelines and checklists. Coordination with vendors, negotiation of contracts, and managing vendor relationships are key responsibilities. Additionally, you will assist clients with budget management, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to financial plans. On the day of the event, you will oversee setup and breakdown, ensuring smooth execution according to plan. You will serve as the point of contact for vendors, venue staff, and guests, managing any issues that may arise. Post-event, you will conduct evaluations with clients, manage feedback, and ensure overall satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in event planning, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities. Problem-solving skills, proficiency with event planning tools, and flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and travel as required are essential. A degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related field, along with 6+ months of event planning experience, is preferred. Key Skills required for this role include attention to detail, time management, vendor negotiation, budgeting, creativity, and customer service excellence. This position is full-time with opportunities for fresher and intern candidates, and the contract length is 6 months. The work schedule is during the day, with performance and yearly bonuses.
