Web Developer Intern — Job Description

A Web Developer Intern supports the development, testing, and maintenance of websites and web applications under the guidance of senior developers. The role involves learning modern web technologies, contributing to front-end and/or back-end tasks, and collaborating with design and engineering teams to deliver functional, user-friendly digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Support back-end development with frameworks such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or PHP (depending on team stack).
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications.
• Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean, maintainable code.
• Test features across browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Work with APIs, databases, and version control tools like Git.
• Document code, processes, and technical solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with at least one front-end framework (React, Vue, Angular) is a plus.
• Understanding of server-side languages or frameworks is beneficial.
• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and improving development skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
