Responsibilities

• Build and manage e-commerce websites (Shopify, WordPress) as well as informational/brand websites.
• Work on both customizing existing sites and developing new websites from scratch.
• Convert briefs into wireframes that organize content and ensure a strong user experience.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and/or lead the design process when needed.
• Implement dynamic website features (hover animations, smooth transitions, content toggles, etc.) to improve usability.
• Ensure accessibility standards are considered in all designs to improve SEO and user experience.
• Follow clear processes: wireframing, design, development, and launch, with approvals before production.
• Maintain and improve websites for performance, functionality, and ease of use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in

  Shopify

  and

  WordPress

  website development.
• Familiarity with other platforms such as

  Squarespace, Weebly, and Wix

  .
• Strong understanding of wireframing, UX layout, and site structure planning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with US-based stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or with designers.
