Job Description

As an Associate in the Wealth Management Audit team at Morgan Stanley, your primary role will involve executing various assurance activities to assess risk and evaluate the control environment for Wealth Management business processes. You will be responsible for inspecting controls in front, middle, and back offices, contributing to the firm's risk management framework. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute a wide range of assurance and oversight activities to identify and assess risks within the Wealth Management area. - Facilitate discussions with stakeholders on risks, their impact, and the effectiveness of management. - Support responses to regulatory requests affecting U.S. Banks. - Assist in managing multiple deliverables according to team priorities. - Develop clear and concise messages regarding risk and business impact. - Solicit and provide feedback and engage in training to enhance personal and peer development. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish effective working relationships and accomplish team objectives. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 3 years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably including auditing Bank products and associated regulations. - College degree (or equivalent) required, CPA and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification is a plus. - Basic knowledge of Wealth Management business within Financial Services. - Strong understanding of audit principles, tools, and processes such as risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting, and continuous monitoring. - Ability to analyze multiple data sources to form informed opinions. - Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and communicate clearly and concisely. - Commitment to inclusive behaviors and willingness to give and receive feedback for personal and peer development.
