Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Manager located in Coimbatore. The Design Manager will oversee and lead the design department, ensuring all projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities include supervising the design team, coordinating with other departments, developing design plans and schedules, reviewing and approving designs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Design Manager will also be responsible for evaluating design performance and implementing improvements as necessary.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in design software including HTRI, PV Elite, SolidWorks, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD
• Experience in managing design teams and leading design projects
• Proficiency in developing design plans, coordinating with departments, and overseeing project schedules
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance, specifically ASME certifications
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly with Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, and related equipment, is highly beneficial
