Design Manager

You will be working as a Design Manager at United Cooling Systems Pvt Ltd, a renowned manufacturer established in 1989 with 35 years of experience in producing Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Process Skids, Columns, and other processing equipment. Their products cater to various industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical/Chemical, Power, and Fertilizer sectors, following the highest international standards and holding certifications like ASME U2, U, R & NB, and ISO accreditations. The in-house design team utilizes advanced software tools to ensure project reliability, efficiency, and performance, with a fast-track production system guaranteeing timely delivery while maintaining quality. As the Design Manager based in Coimbatore, your role will involve overseeing and leading the design department to ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include supervising the design team, coordinating with other departments, developing design plans and schedules, reviewing and approving designs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will also be responsible for evaluating design performance and implementing necessary improvements. To excel in this role, you should possess strong skills in design software such as HTRI, PV Elite, SolidWorks, STAAD Pro, and AutoCAD. Experience in managing design teams, leading design projects, developing design plans, coordinating with departments, and overseeing project schedules will be essential. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance, particularly ASME certifications, is required. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for this position. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is necessary, while an advanced degree is preferred. Experience in the manufacturing industry, especially with Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, and related equipment, will be highly advantageous for this role.,
