Job Description

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HCC Coder to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have experience in coding and a deep understanding of healthcare regulations related to HCC coding. This role is vital to ensuring accurate coding and compliance, which directly impacts patient care and reimbursement.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze medical records to accurately assign appropriate HCC codes.
Ensure coding compliance with CMS guidelines and regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and improve coding accuracy.
Participate in coding audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Stay updated on coding changes and improvements in healthcare regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

1-4 years of experience in HCC coding or related field.
Certification in coding (CCS, CPC, or COC) preferred.
Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and HCC risk adjustment models.
Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for interaction with healthcare providers and team members.

Requirements:

HCC Coding Certification Mandatory

Minimum 6 months experience

Relieving Letter Mandatory
