Waste Management Supervisor

As a Waste Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily waste lifting activities in multiple wards according to assigned route plans. You will coordinate and monitor the deployment and operation of JCB loaders, tippers, and other mechanized equipment to ensure efficient waste collection and transportation to the designated dumping/transfer station without any delays. Your duties will include maintaining records of ward-wise lifting data, vehicle trips, fuel usage, and manpower deployment. It will be your responsibility to ensure the regular servicing and upkeep of JCBs, tippers, and other operational machinery in collaboration with the maintenance team. Additionally, you will allocate duties to field workers, helpers, drivers, and machine operators, manage attendance, and oversee shift rotations. In case of any operational issues at the ground level, such as breakdowns, manpower shortages, or route diversions, you will be required to address them promptly. You will also need to establish effective communication with Howrah Municipal Corporation (HMC) officials, local ward representatives, and residents to ensure smooth field operations. Maintaining safety protocols and hygiene standards during waste lifting and transportation is crucial, and you must ensure strict compliance with these standards. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting daily operational reports to the Site In-Charge or Project Office. This position requires working full-time on a permanent basis with benefits such as Provident Fund. You will be expected to work in rotational shifts at the designated work location in person.,
