Warehouse Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound, storage, order picking, and outbound dispatches.
• Ensure proper inventory control and documentation through ERP or WMS systems.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct periodic physical verification.

2. Inventory & Process Control

• Implement and monitor SOPs for material handling, storage, and dispatch.
• Minimize pilferage, wastage, and stock discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and store teams for timely replenishment.

3. Team & Vendor Management

• Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring efficient shift planning and task allocation.
• Manage third-party logistics and vendor relationships for timely deliveries.
• Train and mentor warehouse teams on compliance, safety, and performance metrics.

4. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to FSSAI, safety, hygiene, and audit standards applicable to QSR/FMCG operations.
• Maintain records related to temperature control, shelf life, and FIFO/FEFO adherence.
• Implement best practices in warehouse safety, housekeeping, and asset maintenance.

5. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS on inventory, inward/outward movements, and losses.
• Analyze operational bottlenecks and initiate continuous improvement measures.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in Supply Chain Management / Operations / Logistics / Commerce
• MBA or specialized certification in Logistics / Warehouse Management preferred

Experience & Skills Required

• 8-10 years of experience in warehouse management for QSR, E-commerce, or FMCG companies
• Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems, inventory control, and dispatch management
• Excellent people management and vendor coordination skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
