Warehouse Manager - Operations

Role Overview: As a Warehouse Manager at APM Terminals, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse that handles direct-to-consumer distribution. Your role will involve ensuring seamless order fulfillment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and optimizing warehouse operations to meet customer satisfaction goals while upholding safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping. - Develop and implement processes to enhance efficiency and meet daily order fulfillment targets. - Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits. - Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast and manage stock levels effectively. - Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. - Create and manage shift schedules to maintain adequate staffing levels during peak times. - Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and orders efficiently. - Ensure staff is well-trained in WMS and other relevant technology tools. - Guarantee accurate and timely order fulfillment to enhance customer satisfaction. - Address and resolve any order discrepancies or issues promptly. - Enforce safety standards and regulations within the warehouse. - Ensure compliance with local and federal labor and health laws. - Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order accuracy, delivery speed, and inventory turnover. - Utilize data insights to identify opportunities for improvement. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field (preferred). - Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing a B2C or e-commerce warehouse. - Proficiency in working with WMS and inventory software. - Strong leadership qualities and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and organizational abilities.,
