WAREHOUSE MANAGER

E COMMERCE background is mostly preferred. A Sortation Center Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of daily operations within a sortation center, focusing on the efficient and accurate movement of goods. This includes managing inventory, leading and developing a team, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and optimizing space utilization. They are also responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of shipments, as well as implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:Managing and developing a team of warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance management, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Inventory Management:Overseeing the accurate tracking and management of inventory levels, ensuring optimal storage and minimizing discrepancies.
• Operational Efficiency:Optimizing space utilization, implementing efficient workflows, and identifying areas for process improvement to maximize throughput and minimize costs.
• Safety & Compliance:Enforcing safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety standards.
• Receiving & Dispatch:Managing the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, including coordinating with other departments and external stakeholders.
• Process Improvement:Identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices, and utilizing technology to enhance operational efficiency.
• Performance Monitoring:Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data, and reporting on operational performance to senior management.
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS):Utilizing and optimizing WMS to manage inventory, track shipments, and streamline warehouse operations.
