Job Description

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and regular stock reconciliation.
Ensure timely and correct issue of materials to production and other departments as per requisitions.
Coordinate inward and outward logistics, including vehicle scheduling, loading/unloading, and transporter communication.
Implement and monitor FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) inventory practices.
Ensure compliance with excise and statutory regulations, including maintenance of registers and timely reporting.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper stacking in the warehouse as per audit and safety norms.
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to plan material availability and avoid shortages or overstocking.
Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP tools for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
Supervise warehouse staff, assign duties, and ensure efficient manpower utilization during shift operations.
